We believe your financial data should remain yours. BillMeister is designed to ensure that data collection is minimized and strictly necessary for your experience. For this purpose we anonymously monitor how often our app is used, and in some cases of support we might ask for your type of device and OS, to be able to determine the cause. We do not collect, analyze, sell or give away any of your personal data.
To keep your data secure, all communication between your device and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard protocols such as TLS and AES‑256. This protects your sensitive information from unauthorized access during transmission.
BillMeister is built on open standards and transparent practices. We regularly update our security measures and share our privacy practices so that you know exactly how your data is handled and protected.
Our platform is currently still under development. We adhere to the highest standards, but we are aware that vulnerabilities may arise during development. At this time, no audits have been scheduled. These audits verify that our systems comply with the highest security standards and ensure that any potential vulnerabilities are addressed promptly.
As a starting company with best intentions, we have limited budgets - but we want to reward everyone who wants to help us to achieve our mission. We try to maintain high standards of security, and minimize usage of data. However, we love to challenge you and help us to find bugs. Low level security issues will be rewarded with 50 to 100 euro; Medium level security issues will be rewarded with 100 to 250 euro; High level security issues will be rewarded max. 500 euro. In case you find any security issues, we kindly ask you not to exploit and inform us immediately.
